  • Riot Games states they have received a ransom demand after the source code for two of its games was stolen during a cyber attack. The studio is confident that no player data or player personal information was compromised.

  • Microsoft has subpoenaed PlayStation as it looks to build its defense against a Federal Trade Commission lawsuit. According to the court filing, Microsoft wants Sony to share information that it believes is relevant to its case.

  • CD Projekt Red has confirmed Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion to have the biggest budget ever allocated to one of its DLCs.

  • Nintendo is reportedly planning to increase Switch production to meet continued demand for the aging console. Strong consumer demand coupled with diminishing component shortages has encouraged this increase.

  • With the death knell of Stadia, Google has given its wireless controller a second chance at life with a manual process to update to a wireless controller. Instructions can be found over at The Verge.

Steam has kicked off its Base Builder Fest, which showcases a variety of games that feature base-building or construction mechanics in some form.

Homeseek is excited to announce its participation in the festival which will take place from January 23rd at 10am PST to January 30th.
