🪑Razer continues to expand their product offerings, this time with a high-performance, modifiable gaming desk under the name Project Sophia. With up to 13 modules, the desk will be optimized for maximum customization to fit the user’s needs.
💼 A surprise acquisition to start off the year: Take-Two has just acquired mobile giant Zynga for a whopping $12.7B. In another strange crossover, Team17 has acquired Hell Let Loose IP to their portfolio and welcomed indie publisher The Label to their family.
⛔️ The Chinese gaming industry is being hit hard due to the government’s recent decision to freeze gaming licenses. As a result, more than 14,000 companies have been shut down, and bigger studios are being forced to lay off workers or move their business overseas.
🎬 Vault dwellers rejoice - Amazon's Fallout TV series will officially be in production starting this year, with Westworld co-creator Jonathan Nolan as the overseer.
💍 The hype for Elden Ring continues as the game is now the most wish-listed title on Steam, breaking Dying Light 2’s 12-month streak. The recent leaks revealed an impressive character creation tool that’s more complex than FromSoftware’s previous titles.
