Gamescom just wrapped up and we saw a bunch of announcements and updates, including Dead Island 2, Sonic Frontiers, Gotham Knights, Hogwarts Legacy, The Callisto Protocol, a new DualSense Controller, and more!
PlayStation is set to increase its PS5 recommended retail price in select markets due to the global economic environment and high inflation rates. Nintendo and Microsoft have responded that they have no plans to increase prices at this time.
A short gameplay clip of the upcoming Need for Speed title has leaked, with footage via Reddit showing various visual effects of a photo-realistic art style mixed with anime elements. It’s claimed the game will release in December.
A logo for “Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family” has been discovered on the Xbox backend, suggesting that the subscription may be coming soon. The service would allow multiple users to share their membership for Game Pass.
Bandai Namco has filed new trademark applications for Time Crisis and Steel Gunner, but it’s unclear if this is indicative of any plans to revive the series.
